It is reported that the Shanghai Lianhe Medical Outpatient Department will be committed to introducing advanced Hong Kong style medical models to mainland families, complementing the existing medical system in mainland China, and providing family medical services with international standards. The group was founded in 1990 and currently has over 600 clinic service points, making it one of the major professional medical service institutions in Hong Kong

Sun Yaojiang, Chairman of Hong Kong United Medical Group, said that Shanghai United Medical Clinic is the flagship clinic of the group in Shanghai and the first Hong Kong wholly-owned medical institution to enter Shanghai through the CEPA policy.
